Lots that can be done with the extra space with the basement but before you roll up your sleeves and get things done, here are some pointers on why you should just let it be.
Not having the same basement ideas. Even if there was no covid or the price of lumber and drywall are ridiculously expensive, doing your basements may cause more cons than pros. For example, you want to finish it with a recreational room, but the potential buyer wants a rec room plus a bedroom. Or maybe you finished with a 3 piece bathroom, and they want a 4 piece bathroom. Or you put vinyl when they want a laminate, or the colors do not suit them well.
